We are the Bay of Plenty's premier Beach Horse Trekking Operation. 

Come horse back riding with Briar's Seaside Horse Treks beside the Pacific Ocean and over rolling green farm land with unsurpassed views. Guide your horse along the glistening sandy beach. Feel the wind in your face and hear seashells crunching under hoof. Feel the power of the Ocean in one of her many moods. On clear days you can see the whole Bay of Plenty from Coromandel to East cape. 
Experienced riders can usually enjoy a canter or gallop along the beach.
Along the way keep your eyes open, you could see native and introduced coastal and forest birds, seals or killer whales, historical sites and dairy cows.
Each ride is briefed with safety and 'how to' procedures and new riders are given a free 5 minute riding lesson to ensure riders know how to whoa and go.
Safe and professional treks are our speciality.
Comfy modern helmets are provided but you will need to furnish long trousers and closed footwear.
We are situated on the right, 30 metres down  Newdicks Beach Rd at Maketu, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.  Prior booking is essential for all rides  by phoning or emailing.
